I'm a graduate of Proofread Anywhere's Transcript Proofreading: Theory and Practice and General Proofreading: Theory and Practice courses. During my studies, I was required to proofread over 100 documents employing industry standard guidelines; passing the course’s hand-graded final exams entailed proofreading several documents with 90% or better accuracy rate. I have since been honing my skills by volunteering with Distributed Proofreaders for Project Gutenberg.
In my spare time (when I'm not curled up with a good book), I'm a fiber artist and sculptor, I raise butterflies, and I'm an amateur nature photographer. -Pegi Tillman |
